The rooms are clean and comfortable, and good for the price. I prefer this hotel over others in Ely because you can easily walk to restaurants, bars and casinos in downtown.

HORRIBLE STAFF!

The couple that "runs" this hotel were unbelievable! The old man had no clue how to check us in or out. Made errors. Then his OVERBARINGLY PUSHY wife, practically ambused me in explaining that her husband didn't charge us enough for the room. I told her I'd let my husband know and that he'd sign for the oversight (which was legit, the clueless hubby forgot to add the room tax). At first she said "OK". Then the very next day, she insisted that I sign the receipt immediately since she'd already charged the credit card. In my frustration with her rudeness, I signed, which I shouldn't have done since my hubby used a credit card that I'm not even on! \n\nWe will NEVER stay at this hotel again! The woman's rudeness was beyond "fixable". She definately needs lessons in people skills, and her husband needs to let someone else do the checking in/out as he just doesn't have the skills do handle that part of the business! \n\nHORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THOSE PEOPLE! ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!
