We came to Florida for the children spring break and Royale Caribe was the perfect place to stay. The children had something entertaining to do even in their down time and the rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was accommodating and friendly. We really enjoyed the pool and the kids loved the slide. I would recommend this hotel to any family.

The hotel is easy to find if your not familiar with the area and is conveniently located across the street from a small shopping center and just around the corner from everything else. We stayed during the Spring Break season so it was a little busy at the pool but there was plenty of room on the free shuttle buses that took us to Disney. We were told to catch the shuttles at the main lobby but found that they stop at the entrances of each of the buildings before making the final stop at the main lobby. The kids loved loved loved the pool! So much so that I think that they would have rather swim than go to Disney. There were nightly moves for the kids at the pool which was a nice surprise. We also spent a day at Universal but there were no shuttles provided by the hotel.

Great Hotel near Key Orlando - Disney Locations

First time staying at the Caribe Royale and everyone enjoyed it! Kids loved the pool and the wife love the tiki - pool side bar as well. I enjoyed the many cafe and coffee shops during the early morning hours. On site restaurants are limited, but at the same time, how often are you eating dinner at your hotel in Orlando? Biggest complaint: No Free wi-fi.

The hotel is located close to Disney theme parks and the room is
large and clean for a reasonable rate. There is also a toddler pool
which my kids loved. My only complaints is the food quality available
on site could be improved.

Beautiful hotel. Very comfortable beds and quiet rooms. Wonderful experience. Only negative is that this hotel/resort is so large that it is a lot of walking.

The suites were small but well appointed & clean. Access to rooms was quick & easy. Pool was not quite as big as I expected & there were not enough lounge chairs! If with kids, don't expect it to be easy to spend a day by the pool unless you go down before 9 a.m. Saving chairs with a towel is not allowed. Staff were removing towels from chairs if there was no one to personally claim them. (not a complaint, think that's actually fair).

We stayed in the villas. Excellent value for the money. The 2-room suite was fantastic. Food and dining services were not so great, but the overall experience made up for it. We will definately plan to stay there again on a return trip.

I was a bit reluctant to stay since I saw several negative reviews. However I was really pleasantly surprised. The hotel is very big with a resort feel to it. The rooms were nice with a living room and bedroom. There were also several food choices and even a video arcade. The only drawbacks was that the hotel is not close to anything except for a gas station with a grocery across the street.
During our stay, the only negative thing I can think of was the shuttle service to the parks since the bus was always late. However this is beyond the control of the hotel.

I called a few days earlier to confirm the reservation and informed them I was flying in around 1 am. When I arrived, I found out that they upgraded me from a suite to a villa. Great resort and had a comfortable time.

There are so many things that make this a superior hotel. The rooms were clean, the beds very comfortable, the pool area was fun for children and relaxing for the adults.
However, the customer service staff practically ruined our trip before we left home. I called to confirm our reservations and remind them not to rebill my credit card as our reservation was paid in full. I was told by Gina at that time that they will be putting a hold on my card for incidentals in the amount of $50 per day, per adult. Due to the size of our family and length of our stay that would have amounted to almost $1000. I was distraught. My husband called back and got a slightly different story. A third call was placed and we got a bit better version. Long story short, if your phone staff does not get better training you will lose business. This facility is beautiful and every other staff member I encountered was professional and friendly.

We stayed at the Caribe Royale for 6 nights and the staff and the room itself was wonderful. I liked the separation between the bedroom and the "living room." We did encounter a problem with the guests above us who had a child running around the room at all hours of the night. I did call security one night as we had to be up early in the morning and just couldn't get any sleep with the noise. The security officer was at the door within 10 minutes and assured me that everything would be taken care of. Within 5 minutes the footsteps had settled down and we did not have a problem after that. I was pleasantly surprised how well the hotel handled the noise complaint. We only had to go to guest services upon check-in and check-out and it was smooth and timely. We did not use the pool but loved the chairs and activities around the pool deck for enjoyment. They had hair braiding, toys to purchase for pool fun, and a parrot who gave us a few laughs!! We did use the take out restaurant in the hotel lobby which had good food and the prices were reasonable. Otherwise we did not dine in the hotel because we were at the theme parks for most of our stay. I will definitely stay at the Caribe Royale again as the price was right and the hotel itself was awesome!!

Beds were a little hard for my taste, but my husband loved the beds. I love that every room is a suite, great for families. The pool area is great! The hotel is very easy to get to and close to everything! The only con that I found is that there is no free internet. It is $10/ 24 hour period.

This is a good three-star resort. The pool is nice and well kept. The room was clean and the maid service was first rate. My son is severly asthmatic and we were placed on a smoking floor despite the fact I called ahead and was assured that we would be assigned to a non-smoking room. The staff offered to change our room the next day; however, failed to follow through. The 24-hour deli did not have much of a selection in the evenings and the prices were overpriced, even for a resort. I travel monthly on business, so I am familiar with what is reasonable and customary.

My kids and I loved this hotel. It was beautiful! The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was nice and big. It had a living room area with a fridge and microwave and a tv as well as one in the bedroom. The beds were comfy. The pool was nice and open late. The food was affordable. And best of all the parking was free and there were no hidden resort fees or any of that mess. I will definitely stay here again.
