Peace and quiet at an affordable rate
PostedApril 18, 2011
My wife and I were looking for a place out of the hustle and bustle of Jackson. Decent room rates with a restaurant were a must. We found it at the Flying Saddle Resort. Though we had to drive a little to get to Jackson and to hiking at Grand Teton, we still enjoyed the scenic drive. Early mornings gave us a chance to wake up to a quiet, peaceful place on the Snake River--watching the waterfowl come and go. Breakfast buffet was good and reasonably priced. We we would definitely stay here again.
Pros: Quiet

The hotel was great. Nice, quiet and what a beautiful view with the river right out your back door! It was the perfect place for a large group. This was a family trip with siblings and their familys.

Very nice hotel and restaurant for a trip to the Tetons NP
PostedFebruary 4, 2011
Hi,
I stayed at this very nice resort in August 2009 during a trip to the Tetons NP and Yellowstone NP. While it's fine if you just want to see the Tetons, it's really far from Yellowstone as traffic to the park is very slow. Other than that, the hotel is very nice and the restaurant is quite good too.
Pros: Free Internet, Quiet, good restaurant, gift store, liquor store

the staff at the flying saddle resort were excellent. they went out of their way to accommodate our needs we had requested three beds but upon arrival those beds had been taken so the mgr offered us two rooms which was great. the food is wonderful and service is also very good. the pool is very nice and the river views are spectaular. this was our 2nd stay in a 3 month time span and we would stay at this resort should we be back in the area at any time of the year. well worth the money. ps.gift shop and beverage shop on premises are very convenient.
Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet

Extremely clean and fresh!
PostedAugust 8, 2010
This hotel room was by far the cleanest hotel room I've stayed in, in over a year. I travel almost weekly for work. This was vacation, so I was a bit more conservative in my spending, and, did not expect the best.
This room seemed as if no one had ever stayed in it, it was that clean. And I am a stickler for clean. I've walked out of hotels before, after viewing an unclean room . The Staff is very friendly and accomodating.
DId not try the restaurant.
Views of Snake River, driving south of Jackson Hole, are amazing. Drive is not bad at all.
